Chalk Talk with Eva and Victorian Tea at Mount Hope Mansion
First, you will visit Elva’s Barnyard Art Studio. You will be amazed by Eva’s talent. Eva will tell a story as she uses chalk to draw a picture of the story.
After you hear Eva’s story you will travel to Mount Hope for a Victorian Tea. Miss Daisy Grubb is hosting a Victorian Tea at her beautiful Mount Hope Mansion. Her Family built the mansion. She was the last of the Grubbs to reside on the estate. You will be greeted by Daisy’s socialite friends, dressed in their Victorian finest. Miss Daisy’s friends will give everyone a lesson in etiquette before being introduced to Miss Daisy herself. Daisy and her friends will chat about the history of the English tea and tell stories of the Grubb family’s time at the estate. As you sip on your tea you will enjoy three savory finger sandwiches and three sweets. At the conclusion of the tea, you will enjoy a guided tour of the mansion. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
