Be delighted and amazed at the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular, a unique & breathtaking display of 5000 illuminated jack-o-lanterns artistically carved and displayed in scenes to play out the annual theme.  Take a Cranberry Bog tour at A.D. Makepeace, the world’s largest cranberry grower!  Learn about the yearly cycle of cranberry growing, the methods of harvesting, and insight on being a cranberry farmer. Visit the historically infamous Lizzie Borden House, site of one of the most famous crimes in American History!  Be immersed in the spooky side of Providence history on the Providence Ghost Tour. Trace the footsteps of Washington Irving’s most famous character on a guided tour of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Before heading home tour Lyndhurst Castle, a majestic estate on the banks of the magnificent Hudson River.

After your meal you will be escorted to the park entrance for priority admission to the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! You will be delighted and amazed by this breathtaking display of thousands of illuminated jack-o-lanterns lining the park's trail.

This morning's hightlight is a CRANBERRY BOG tour by A.D. Makepeace, in Wareham, Massachusetts, the world's largest cranberry grower. Your guide will show you examples of an exisitng bog, currently in production and will discuss the stages of the cranberry growing process. There are two methods of harvesting, and you may even see it happening. Learn from the expert cranberry growers about farming and harvesting this fruit named "cranberry" by the Pilgrims. A boxed lunch will be provided from the Village Market at the bogs following your tour.

Next, arrive in Fall River to visit the historically infamous LIZZIE BORDEN HOUSE, home to one of the greatest and most iconic unsolved murder mysteries in American history. Lizzie Borden has been a household name for nearly 130 years. Back on August 4, 1892, the bodies of Lizzie's father and step mother were found dead in the home they shared with her. The Lizzie Borden house is quirky and charming, and some people are convinced that the ghosts of Lizzie, her father and her stepmother still lurk around the home today.

This afternoon takes you on a private 90-minute PROVIDENCE GHOST TOUR where you will be immersed in the spooky side of Providence's history. Your guide will introduce you to Providence's longest-lingering residents. Walk in the footsteps of local literary giants and humble servants alike, their restless souls still stirring among the living. Your guide is an excellent storyteller, and their tales are sure to give you goosebumps. Be sure to wear your walking shoes to explore the hills and streets of Providence.

DINNER is included this evening at POT AU FEU in Sabin's Tavern recreated. Here you will be transported back in time to 1772 to relive the "Gaspee Affair". This was a significant event in the lead-up to the American Revolution. HMS Gaspee was a British customs schooner that had been enforcing the Navigation Acts in and around Newport. School children learn in the history books of the Boston revelers who pushed tea into the harbor - you will learn what happened more than a year earlier.

Check out and travel to SLEEPY HOLLOW, NEW YORK.

Guided one-hour walking tour of SLEEPY HOLLOW CEMETERY. Your guide will tell amazing stories that will unlock the secrets behind the stones! Visit Washington Irving's grave in the south end of the cemetery and learn more about his enormous impact on American Literature and the enduring appeal of "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". Please be aware this is a hilly area. The route up to Irving's grave includes a hill and is on grassy, unpaved gravel areas. There are benches if anyone decides it is too much for them.

LUNCH is included today in Sleepy Hollow at HUDSON ANCHOR.

Visit LYNDHURST CASTLE, a majestic estate on the banks of the magnificent Hudson River. Experience firsthand an American icon of architecture and landscape. Your tour has a Halloween twist as the first floor is decorated with seasonal trimmings. The second floor, which centers around the grand Picture Gallery, is not decorated and visitors can see those spaces in their traditional splendor.
This one-hour guided tour visits two floors of the mansion and requires the ability to navigate stairs and a short, uphill walk.
