Celebrate the return of Spring at the Canadian Tulip Festival, an annual world-famous event that attracts over 650,000 visitors every year.  Stroll through some of Ottawa’s impressive displays of over a million colorful tulips.  Experience the grandeur of the 1000 Islands, a freshwater and sightseer’s paradise along the peaceful northern border between New York State and the southeastern Canadian province of Ontario.  This picturesque 50 mile stretch along the St. Lawrence River is made up of over 1800 islands and has been a favorite destination of travelers for over 100 years. Stay on the water in Clayton, NY a quintessential river village with Magnificent views of the St. Lawrence River. ***PASSPORT IS REQUIRED***

Board motorcoach and travel across the US span of the 1000 Islands Bridge System. First stop, the 1000 Islands Tower. Ride the elevator to the Sky deck and receive a bird's eye view of the 1000 Islands. Make a stop at the Duty-Free Store located in Canada. After shopping the motorcoach will cross the Canadian Spans of the 1000 Islands Bridge System that connects the United States with our friendly Canadian neighbors. Next visit the Tulip Festival and Market in Ottawa, where lunch is on your own at the Market. After the festival continue through Canada to the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge as you cross into the United States. Dinner enroute to the hotel.

Board the motorcoach for a short trip to the Antique Boat Museum and the LA Duchess. Enjoy a guided tour of the largest collection of fresh water boats and historical souvenirs on display in the Northeast. While visiting the museum enjoy a tour of the LA Duchess, George Boldt's Houseboat gives visitors a glimpse of the Gilded Age and popularity of the 1000 Islands in the 1900's. After our visit to the museum board the motorcoach or walk to the village for shopping and lunch on your own. After lunch, board the boat for a Narrated Two Nation Tour of the beautiful Thousand Islands. We will stop at George Boldt's Yacht House on Wellesley Island, where he kept his large fleet of yachts, skiffs and speed boats. Re-board the boat for Heart Island and a self-guided tour of Boldt Castle awaits. After the tour, board the boat for a cocktail cruise (cash bar) to Morgan Island where the fishing guides are waiting to serveup an Old-Fashioned Shore Dinner.
